Smoked meats, fish and whiskey have one thing in common: a smoky aroma. Not all people enjoy this taste, but those who love it don’t want to miss it anymore. Smoking preserves meat, fish and vegetables and gives distinct taste: powerful, deep and spicy. 

Meat smoking has been done since time immemorial. The first indications that smoking was used as a preservation method come from prehistoric times. It is not known exactly when meat was smoked for the first time. Over time, the smoking process was combined with the salting of meat. A particularly effective preservation process that has been adapted and developed by many cultures around the world.
